She started The Painted Path because she got tired of folks not realizing how art can totally rock students' worlds and take them places they’ve never been. L'Oreal's here to make sure every kiddo has access to an explorative art education and a canvas to shine on! She's all about giving our students a voice and a safe space to let it soar.
Elias Marteal
Elias brings a vibrant mix of skills and experiences to the board. From being the Secretary to the Director at a homeless shelter, raising over $40k in four months, to grassroots organizing during pivotal social justice moments—Elias is a true force for positive change!
Passionate about empowering youth and fostering inclusivity, Elias believes in the cultural connection that art brings. As an intuitive drawer and art therapy enthusiast, Elias brings a warm, welcoming presence to our board.
Jill Willingham
Born and raised in Arlington, Jill is your go-to gal for all things community! From planning citywide shindigs to rocking it as an art teacher for the past decade, she's been a powerhouse of creativity and financial finesse.
As a seasoned educator at Sam Houston, a Title 1 school, she knows firsthand the transformative power of art. Beyond the numbers, Jill's heart beats for empowering student artists, organizing art sales where 90% goes back to the creators, and growing the ceramics program.
